Dr Matthew Conway
Dr Conway is from Dundrum and went to school in St Marys College Rathmines.
He graduated from UCLAN (University of Central Lancashire School of Medicine and Dentistry) and completed Dental Foundation training in the Northwest Deanery in the UK. During this year he performed all aspects of general dentistry and completed postgraduate training in crown and bridgework and endodontics (root canal treatment). He also spent a day a week working alongside an Oral Surgeon performing surgical procedures.
Following this Dr Conway worked in private practice in Manchester where he built up a loyal patient base due to his attention to detail and warm personality. Whilst in Manchester he completed many postgraduate courses including a PG Cert in Dental Implantology and a 2 year mentee training scheme at the ICE Hospital which involved placing dental implants under the expert guidance of Professor Cemal Ucer. Dr Conway also has a keen interest in orthodontics;both fixed and removable braces (Invisalign) and cosmetic dentistry.
He enjoys performing all aspects of general dentistry from a childs first check up, to performing root canals and providing tooth like crowns and veneers. Dr Conway regularly attends courses both in Ireland and abroad to make sure he provides his patients with the best treatment.He is a member of the IDA (Irish Dental Association)and the ITI (International Team of Implantology).
Outside of dentistry Matt is a keen rugby and football fan. He enjoys keeping fit and spending time with his wife and young son.
Dr. Caitriona Kieran
Dr. Caitriona Kieran qualified with honours from Trinity College Dublin in 2010. Since then she has gone on to complete a number of post graduate courses. She has a keen eye for cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics and combines this to help you look and feel your best. She is kind and compassionate and very good at looking after those who might feel nervous after a long break from the dental chair.
After graduation, she completed a postgraduate vocational training year in Glasgow, where she continued to work before returning to Dublin in 2014.
Caitriona is also a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and completed these postgraduate examinations in 2012. She is a part-time clinical supervisor, teaching advanced restorative to undergraduate students in the Dublin Dental Hospital, TCD. Through her passion for teaching she enjoys passing on the knowledge she has learnt, while keeping up to date with the newest techniques.
Caitriona also has a keen interest in facial aesthetics and is happy to discuss any treatments from botox to dermal filler. This can be combined nicely with adult orthodontics and teeth whitening. These treatments will really make you smile.
Caitriona has travelled abroad to help those less fortunate, most recently to the refugee camps in Greece. Her work there was facilitated but the Health Point Foundation, an extremely worthy charity.
Outside of dentistry Caitriona is a keen sportsperson who’s interests include cycling, sea swimming and sailing.
Dr Bogdan Selejan
Dr. Bogdan Selejan’s career has been built on a foundation of quality education, training and experience. He qualified as a specialist orthodontist 4 years ago and remains passionate about creating healthy, confident smiles. Bogdan carries out every type of treatment, from Invisalign and Damon to traditional braces, but he has a special interest in providing non-extraction solutions to even the most complex cases.
Dr. Selejan is a Registered Specialist in Orthodontics with the Irish Dental Council. His is also a member of the Irish Dental Association and the Orthodontic Society of Ireland.
Since completing his formal specialist training, Dr Selejan continues to attend postgraduate course and seminars throughout the world, in order to provide the best and most up-to-date treatments available. As part of his continuing education, he participates in numerous local and international study clubs and attends specialist- focused courses regularly.
Dr. Bogdan Selejan was born and grew up in Romania, in one of the most famous regions in the world, Transylvania. He qualified as a Specialist Orthodontist from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Tirgu Mures. He now lives in Dublin with his fiancée, Mădălina, who also works as a Dentist.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time in nature, watching GAA, playing sports, snowboarding, listening to music and reading.
Fionnuala
Fionnuala graduated in 2009 from Dublin Dental School-Trinity College. She has gained a wealth of experience in dental practices both here and further afield in the UK and Australia.
Fionnuala has been treating the patients at Walkinstown Dental Care since 2014. She will meet you with a warm welcome and take you through your dental hygiene appointment in a gentle pain free approach.
Fionnuala is friendly and loves treating our most nervous patients. Since starting here she has turned our most nervous patients into regular attenders- who actually enjoy coming now!
Outside of work Fionnuala lives in Wicklow with her husband Barry and their gorgeous doggy Doug.
Hannah
Hannah began her career in dentistry in 2010 as a dental nurse. She worked as a dental nurse in private practice in Ireland and Australia before deciding to go back to University in Scotland to study Hygiene and Therapy. She graduated with the school award for clinical excellence and finished top of her year.She has a kind and personable manner and prides herself on every patient having a positive experience.
Paula
Paula has been working in the dental industry for 16 years. She graduated from The Dublin Dental Hospital in 2011 and in 2014 came to work at Walkinstown Dental Care for a maternity cover and has been here since.
She loves her job and is passionate about dentistry. She prides herself on being compassionate and empathetic towards our patients, making them feel at ease and enjoys getting to know them and ensuring that they have an enjoyable experience.
Sahar
Sahar has 14 years of dental experience. She joined the Walkinstown Dental Care team in 2018 and loves working here . I find the most rewarding part of working in this clinic is being part of our patients happiness, appreciation and great smile as well as learning more from my amazing coworkers.
